For international visitors
Kyoto Rental Studio Star is a private rental studio for dance, ballet and yoga in Kyoto. Our Marutamachi studio has large mirrors, a linoleum floor and two ballet barres. It is self-service with no staff on site, so everything is arranged by message in advance.

If you book 2 hours or more, the discounted rate applies to the whole booking. Example: weekday 8:00–12:00 (4 hours) = 4,800 yen.
HOW TO BOOK
Booking and payment- Check availability. See the calendar on our studio page. Busy times are shown as booked.
- Send us a message on LINE. Tell us the date and time you want. You can also book on our website (Japanese only).
- Pay in advance. We accept credit cards and PayPay. If your overseas card doesn't work on the website, we will send you a card payment link on LINE. We do not accept cash, because there is no staff on site.
- Receive the entry instructions. After your payment is confirmed, we will send you the door code and how to enter.

RULES
Studio rules- Please do not enter before your booking time, and leave by the end time including cleanup.
- Indoor shoes, bare feet or socks only. No outdoor shoes.
- Drinks with a lid are OK. No food or alcohol.
- Please take all your trash home. A fee of 5,000–20,000 yen applies if trash is left in the studio.
- No flamenco or tap dance (because of noise). No smoking.
- Please clean the floor, wipe the mirrors and put equipment back before you leave.

5-minute walk from Marutamachi Station (Karasuma Subway Line), Exit 2
Open in Google Maps ↗- Take the North Exit gate at Marutamachi Station and go to Exit 2.
- Turn left after coming out of Exit 2.
- Turn left at the "小川金正堂" sign.
- Walk past the Red Cross building and cross the crosswalk.
- Look for the red building.
- Open the blue door and go down the stairs to the basement.
There is no parking or bicycle parking at the studio. Please use a nearby paid parking lot. Please do not leave bicycles in front of the building.
